Trier (ca:40 km):
The oldest city of Germany. You can visit several buildings from the Roman time there.
For example:
- the Porta Nigra; a city gate of Roman origin - the Amphitheater; that today is used for the performance of concerts - the Emperor
thermal springs; one of the largest roman baths north of the alps - the Basilica; early roman throne hall, today evangelic church and so far.
Everywere you go in Trier you see the lanes of the Romans and of the earls. Today you can see a very beautiful city with many buildings of
medieval orign.
